Method:

Microbeads were prepared using a water-in-oil (W/O) emulsion, in which PDMS containing a silicone surfactant served as the oil phase and an aqueous phase of PEDOT:PSS, MXene, and PVA was dispersed to form droplets for subsequent solidification.

Results:

The incorporation of conductive microbeads into a PDMS/PEDOT:PSS composite resulted in the formation of capillary bridges within the polymer matrix, leading to improved electrical conductivity and mechanical compliance suitable for in-ear electrodes.
