Gold Nanoparticles (AuNPs)

Method:

Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were synthesized via a citrate reduction method, in which an aqueous HAuCl₄ solution was rapidly reduced by trisodium citrate under boiling conditions, yielding stable, wine-red colloidal AuNPs with size tunable through the precursor-to-citrate ratio.

Results:

Synthesized monodisperse 40nm gold nanoparticles optimized for the balance between visible color contrast and surface area for biomolecule conjugation, exploring the potential use of machine learning to improve synthesis precision and further enhance diagnostic reproducibility in colorimetric biosensing applications.
